CENTRE INFORMATION:

Female, male and disabled toilets are available
Changing cubicles and lockers are on the poolside for easy access
Lockers are available but a £1 deposit at reception is needed for a locker token
Open showers are available on both sides of the poolside (ones by the male toilets are better)
Easy access steps are placed in the shallow end for all users, ladder steps are available in the deep end
Swimmer ratios are, 0-2 years is one baby per adult, ages 3-7 is 2 children per adult, ages 8 and above who can swim do not require an adult in the water, ages 8 and above who can't swim will require an adult in the water
Pool equipment, such as arm discs, Shark Fins, Aqua Planes and woggles are available on request to help keep swimmers supported and safe, likewise, kick-boards and pull buoys are available for lane swimmers on request
The hoist is available on request for anyone who requires or would like support entering and exiting the pool
Our poolside wheelchair is also available on request for anyone who requires or would like support moving around poolside
A small swim shop is located at reception for the purchase of swim goggles, swimwear, ear bands, ear plugs
Snacks and refreshments can be purchased from reception after your swim

RULES OF THE POOL:

No outdoor shoes to be worn on poolside
Shower before entering the pool
All non-toilet-trained children must wear a double nappy system with the top layer being a snug fit on the waist and thighs. (These are available to purchase or hire from reception with a £5 refundable deposit)
No make-up or body products are to be worn in the pool
No food on the poolside and drinks must be in suitable sports containers
No diving anywhere in the pool due to the shallow depth
No running on poolside, bombing, standing on floats/mats
The slide is for 15year olds and under who weigh less than 80kg
Lane etiquette is to be followed, such as following clockwise and anticlockwise signs, slow, medium and fast lanes and no lane hogging (swimming down the middle)
No talcum powder due to mess and unwanted chemicals going into pool plant system No phones on the poolside and no photography

All belongings are to be placed in lockers and not left in cubicles, any belongings left in cubicles can be moved in to lockers by staff members, to which SMART Swim Centre takes no liability for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
