The Voluta Quartet is a vibrant new Manchester-based string\nensemble who met at the Royal Northern College of Music. Formed in April 2025,\nthe quartet strives to present high-quality, innovative, and entertaining\nprograms. As recent winners of the RNCM Hirsch Prize, the group works closely\nwith local composers and engages with contemporary works as well as core\nclassical repertoire such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Ravel. By bringing the\npassion and flavour of their multicultural backgrounds, the quartet is excited\nto share a fresh take on classical quartet music, creating an inspiring and\nwelcoming environment for audiences of all kinds.

The programme of the evening will be annouced shortly including various music that was played within the Buxton Crescent during the Georgian period.\n\n
