\nThe Sheepdog Experience is for anyone with a passion for dogs and the outdoors and would like to learn more about the day in the life of a shepherd at Pye Ash Farm. No dog is required. In the picturesque Cheshire countryside, the Sheepdog Experience is half a day with James & Jane Gilman, on their working sheep & beef farm, in a small group of no more than 6 people so it is very hands on. You’ll experience all aspects of training, working and trialing sheepdogs from young pups to world class trial winning dogs. You will meet the full team of sheepdogs at Pye Ash and learn about how James began training sheepdogs and all of the amazing tales that have happened over the last 40 years. The Sheepdog Experience takes place on select dates throughout the year. Suitable for ages 16 and over. The Sheepdog Experience includes locally sourced refreshments from Elnor Lane Bakery served by Come Bye Horsebox, a sheepdog training whistle and a piece of Pye Ash merchandise. There are no spectators, to keep the experience as special and hands-on for the attendees.
