This Christmas join us for a fluffy, festive, alpaca walk followed by a delicious warm picnic lunch in our Christmas Tea Barn!

Plus enjoy a complimentary Prosecco to celebrate the season!

The perfect Christmas get-together with a difference - ideal for families, friends, work groups and more.

Alpaca Orchard Walk

We start with a welcome to the farm and the alpacas before we set off on our Alpaca Walk around the orchard.
You will have your own alpaca to walk, who will be wearing their Christmassy neckerchiefs!
The walk is easy and gentle, just pop on your wellies and enjoy a winter stroll with your alpaca companion.
If you would like to book as a private group we can tailor the walk and the experience to suit your party.
After the walk (Approx 45 minutes) we will spend some time meeting the females and young alpacas.
Plus say hello to the pigs Peggy and Wilbur while you are here!

Festive Picnic Basket Lunch

After the walk, get all cosy in our Christmas Tea Barn seating area. We will have the heaters going, cushions and blankets. Everything to keep you warm as you enjoy your Picnic Basket Lunch by the Christmas tree.

Lunch will include:

A complimentary Prosecco to start!

Then choose from our varied menu of hot and cold soft drinks.

Warm & Filling Festive Sausage Roll

Butternut Squash & Sage Soup

A selection of festive picnic nibbles to accompany these.

A trio of delicious sweet treats for after.

Plus Christmas Crackers & Music for a festive atmosphere!

Shop:
At the end of the experience we will open up our Alpaca Room Gift Shop, which is packed full of alpaca goodies, yarn & gifts to browse.
A chance for some last minute Christmas Shopping or to take away a souvenir from your visit to us at Little Orchard Alpacas.

Price:

Alpaca Walkers - Adults and children aged 10+: £49
Children Aged 5-9 (to share an alpaca with a booked adult): £39
Walk-along and Festive Lunch (maximum of one person for every two people booked): £39
Meet the Alpacas and Festive Lunch Only (with a booked walking group of two or more people). With this option you can sit in our seating area while the rest of the group is on the walk. There will be plenty of opportunity to spend time with the alpacas while you are here: £29

Children:

Babies are welcome to be carried in a secure sling or backpack. The adult carrying the baby must choose the walk-along ticket and will not be able to hold an alpaca lead, but can walk along with the rest of the walking group and spend plenty of time with the alpacas. As it is winter, the walk can be slippery in places and we want to ensure everyone's safety.
Please note for the group walk we are unable to welcome under 5's. If you have younger children and either a group of 5+ people or would like to book privately, we can allow children younger than 5.

Group Sizes

For both the public group walks and private walks we have a maximum of 7 alpacas being walked and a maximum group size of up to 8 people if some are with walk-along or lunch only tickets.
Walks will be kept private as standard for groups of 5 or more people walking an alpaca.
If you have less than 5 people and would like to book a private walk, please get in touch and we can arrange this. hello@littleorchardalpacas.com

Other Information

Allow upto three hours, depending on group size. 11am - 2pm on the farm.
This is a slow walk at 'alpaca pace'. It is a relaxing and fun experience with the focus on quality time, where you can really see each alpaca's personality, rather than a trek!
Please wear sturdy footwear, wellies in wet weather and long trousers throughout the year.
Please ensure you have read our full terms and conditions before booking.
Weather Policy: If the weather is unsuitable (very heavy rain and/or wind, we don't cancel for a little bit of rain) we will get in touch the day before your walk to let you know and either postpone or offer a refund.
Dietary Requirements - We can offer a vegan, gluten free or vegetarian option. If you have any allergies please let us know in the box at the checkout.
The menu will be set on the day, any alternative options need to be arranged in advance.
If you have an Alpaca Orchard Walk voucher you would like to redeem during our Christmas period, you are welcome to join the festive experience - there is the option to upgrade to the picnic basket lunch, or we will still offer our usual drinks and cake option to voucher holders during this period.
