ACTIVITIES AWAY are committed to providing you with the best possible experience when booking activities through our online shop. Please review our cancellation policy below, which is in line with the UK Distance Selling Regulations.

1\\. Right to Cancel (Distance Selling Regulations)

Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your booking for activity tickets purchased through our online shop within 14 days of receiving confirmation of your purchase.

However, please note that the following conditions apply:

a. Cancellation within 14 Days: You may cancel your booking within 14 days of receiving the order confirmation.

If your activity ticket is for an event or activity scheduled to take place within 14 days of your purchase, the right to cancel will be lost once the event/activity has occurred.

The means that if you fail to attend the activity on the day and time you booked and had not previously contacted us with a cancellation request, then no refund will be due.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check to ensure we have received any cancellation request sent to us prior to the booked activity taking place.

This can be done by calling us on 01522 300929, in person at the centre when open or by requesting a read receipt to a cancellation email when sending the cancellation request.

To cancel, you must inform us in writing within this 14-day period (or prior to the activity taking place if sooner) to receive a refund.

Cancellations outside of the 14 day 'cooling off' period are not accepted but at our sole discretion you may be offered an alternative date/time to attend for the activity (subject to availability).

b. Cancellation After 14 Days:

1.1 After the 14-day period, cancellations are no longer accepted, and no refunds will be provided. - At our sole discretion we may agree to transfer your booking to an alternative date, subject to availability, and a transfer fee may apply.

How to Cancel your booking within the 14-day cancellation period:
The quickest way to cancel is to email us at office@activitiesaway.uk clearly stating your intention to cancel and providing your order number.

It is also possible to cancel by - Writing to us at our postal address (please purchase a proof of delivery option if using this method).

Calling us on 01522 300929 (please ensure you record the name of the team taking the call).

By calling into the centre when open to speak with us.

We will confirm your cancellation request and process the refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

3\\. Refunds

a. Eligible Refunds: If you cancel within the 14-day period and no event or activity has taken place, we will provide a full refund to your original payment method.

The refund will be processed within 14 days from the receipt of your cancellation notice.

b. Non-Eligible Refunds:

If you have attended the activity or event, no refund will be issued, even if you request a cancellation afterward.

If the activity is scheduled within 14 days of purchase and you decide to cancel after this period, the refund will not be issued.

4\\. Changes to Bookings

Should you wish to change the date of your booking, please contact us at least 3 days in advance.

We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and any applicable change fees.
